The Students' Union Council
We have an elected Union Council made up of all of the Union’s elected officers. The Council is the Students’ Union’s equivalent of the House of Commons and is the “sovereign body” of the Union. They hold the Executive Officers to account for what they’ve been doing in the name of the Students’ Union.
The union council is a group of elected students who represent you the students at meetings of the union council and oversee the running or the union, make policy on the position that students have about certain subjects and make sure that our union is doing what the you the members want it to do.
This year the council is made up of 23 members and they are:
